The Mercenary

Release
Escape the pain inside,
She purges her mind to write,
Like bulemia of the brain
She'll write with all her might

Throw it out on paper
There's more than meets the eye
From a broken-hearted Mercenary
Who never even wanted to try.

One who's seen countless troubles
And on whom so much blame is thrown.
More than just one soul should bear,
She's forced to carry on her own.

She's all alone with her mind
With nowhere left to run,
She's the one who fights for Truth now,
The one without a gun.

But, do not despair, Dear friends of mine!
She'll be alright, you'll see.
For, look closely at the words she pens;
That Mercenary is me.
